Craig Ford has been shortlisted for the Australian Cyber Security Awards 2024

Craig Ford – Head Unicorn (Cofounder and Executive Director) for Cyber Unicorns has been named as a finalist in the Australian Cyber Security Awards 2024 for Cyber Security Professional of the Year – Professional and Financial Services.
The Australian Cyber Security Awards is the premier event to honour outstanding individuals and businesses making significant contributions to the cyber security industry.
These esteemed awards are distinguished for recognising individuals and businesses, rather than products and platforms, enabling the acknowledgment of all cyber stakeholders in the industry – from defence, insurance, cloud services, and technology through to those working in STEM, consultancy and ransomware protection.
The finalist list, which was announced on Monday, 29 April 2024, features over 166 high-achieving professionals across 29 submission-based categories.
Liam Garman, Editor of Cyber Daily, said: “There’s never been a more important time to acknowledge those individuals and businesses who work tirelessly to keep Australians safe online. The data is clear, Australians are more at risk online than ever.”
“These awards are our opportunity to recognise the best and brightest in Australia’s cyber security industry, from in-house cyber professionals protecting Australia’s top businesses through to SMEs that are pushing the bounds of tech.”
“I look forward to celebrating with you on the night as we applaud our finalists and their amazing accomplishments.”
Craig Ford, Head Unicorn at Cyber Unicorns, said he was humbled to be recognised and proud to be named as a finalist in the Australian Cyber Security Awards 2024.
“Cyber Unicorn’s recognition for our excellent contribution to the Australian cyber security sector in just a short time of being in business reinforces the strength of our service and dedication to connecting with the community and engaging with clients,” he added.
