We are absolutely ecstatic to announce that two of Craig Ford’s (Our Cofounder and Executive Director) books have been recognised in The Independent Press Awards, these awards are run out of New York City in the US. These awards recognise amazing local, international authors and books from across the world.
The Shadow World – 2025 Winners (List) | IndependentPressAwards
This book coauthored with Caity Randall was created to help educate children on how to navigate the online world. This book has been a huge success, reaching best-seller status in Australia very quickly but to win this award which will allow this book to be seen by children all over the world is amazing. This book has been a huge passion project with more than 7000 copies already donated to schools across Australia to help foster better online awareness and education in the next generations.
Foresight – 2025 DF (List) | IndependentPressAwards
Foresight was born from Craig’s passion to help encourage more young women an interest in STEM or cyber specifically, it has had really great feedback and response. Having this international recognition will help bring this (now a three-book series and growing) book to a much wider readership, helping me achieve the great outreach that this book needs to make a real impact.
The official announcements will be coming out over the next few weeks, with an award ceremony in NYC later in the year.
Bringing these books under the Cyber Unicorns banner when the previous publisher went into liquidation was a great decision and love that this will help make them even bigger for the world to see…
